RESERVATION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Payments/Security Deposits: No reservation is confirmed until deposit has been received and credit authorization is on file establishing and guaranteeing credit to pay for any charges resulting from damages, additional cleaning, house rule violation fines, or loss of property or its’ contents; caused by guest during their stay. A four (4) night deposit is required upon booking and final payment is due 90 days prior to arrival. If booking within 90 days prior to arrival, full payment is due. Full payment is due by Sept 1 for Christmas reservations.

Forms of payment: Personal check, Travelers Check, VISA & MasterCard.

Front Desk Fees and Other charges: Guest will be charged a one-time $50.00 registration fee and $5.00 per day resort usage fee to be paid at the front desk. Parking: $12.00 per day to be paid at the front desk. Phone Charges: Long distant telephone calls are an additional charge paid at the front desk. Free High Speed Internet is available in all units.

Maid Service: (not included in rates) A mid-week cleaning will be provided to guests staying nine (9) days or longer. Additional maid service may be arranged for a nominal charge.

Hawaii State Taxes: Room rates are subject to applicable Hawaii State Taxes currently 4.166% General Excise Tax and 7.25% Transient Accommodations Tax.

Cancellation Policy: $50 cancellation fee for reservations cancelled after receipt of initial deposit. Cancellations made less than 90 days prior to arrival are non-refundable unless space is resold. With the exception of Christmas cancellations which must be made by September 1. No refunds are made for un-used nights regardless of cause. Reservations are unit “specific” and units cannot be changed after final payment.

Travel Protection Insurance: CSA Travel Protection Order via Online www.VacationProtection.com or by phone 1-800-661-6860. Must be done prior to final payment. CSA is independent of Monte Fitts, Realtors

Check-in time is 3PM: Check-in at The Whaler front desk unless otherwise noted. There are fees set by the individual property’s on-site management which are not under our control. You are subject to and liable for such charges as they are not included in your rate; including “registration fees”, “key service”,
and/or but not limited to “parking fees”.

Checkout time is 11AM: Late checkouts are subject to availability and request must be made no sooner than 48 hours to departure. Requests for late checkouts are subject to a minimum charge of $65,
and/or up to ˝-day room rate depending upon time of departure. If you have a late flight, we recommend you book the unit for an extra night if you wish to guarantee availability of the unit.

ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURES

The price of staying in paradise may include pests such as insects, rodents, strong sun and dangers in the ocean. We ask that you be aware of your surroundings and take appropriate precautions. Monte D. Fitts, Realtors manages properties for individual owners.

Each owner furnishes their property as they wish within quality standards. Reservations are considered short-term lease/rents with the individual property and owner. Problems rarely occur but rental accommodations cannot always be controlled. Should a situation arise whereby the accommodation specified on your confirmation become unavailable, Monte D. Fitts, Realtors, reserves the right to substitute alternate accommodations of similar type up to and including the day of arrival.

All reservations are subject to cancellations or change for reasons including, but not limited to, strikes,
acts of God, and failure of guests to vacate as scheduled, owner occupancy and or sale of properties. Deposits shall be held in client trust accounts. Any interest earned shall become the property of
Monte D. Fitts, Realtors terms and conditions are subject to change.
